Getting to know New Braunfels

Boat Town was founded in Austin, Texas in 1961 by the same family who proudly leads the dealership today. For more than six decades, Texas families have trusted us to help them make memories on the water. As our customer base continued to grow throughout Central Texas, we carefully searched for the right opportunity to expand into the New Braunfels area, a community deeply rooted in boating, water skiing, and river life.

After years of planning and preparation, Boat Town New Braunfels officially opened its doors on January 6, 2026.

This location has been in the works for many years. When we found the right property already equipped with an existing structure, we knew it had the potential to become something special. We expanded and customized the facility with purpose, and thoughtful design to every space to better serve boat owners in New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, McQueeney, Dunlap and the surrounding areas.

New Braunfels is known for its strong water ski presence, growing wake boat community, and access to incredible waterways near you. It’s a fast-growing area attracting both young families and longtime lake residents who value time on the water.

Today, Boat Town New Braunfels is a trusted destination for new boats for sale, used boats for sale, wake boats, ski boats, and family performance boats in the New Braunfels area. Whether you’re buying your first boat or upgrading as your family grows and your skills improve, we love seeing that excitement increase from the first on-water demo to years down the road when customers pass their boat down to the next generation.

At Boat Town New Braunfels, our commitment doesn’t stop after the sale. We are dedicated to providing expert boat service, marine repair, and OEM boat parts for customers throughout New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, McQueeney, Dunlap and surrounding Central Texas communities.

Our highly trained marine technicians bring extensive hands on experience and manufacturer backed education to every service appointment. One of the major advantages of our New Braunfels boat service center is our on-site test tank, allowing us to run detailed diagnostics and perform controlled testing without ever leaving the facility. This helps us diagnose issues faster, test repairs thoroughly.

Do you keep your boat at a dock or marina and don’t have a trailer? No problem. We offer convenient mobile boat service and will come directly to your dock to perform routine maintenance and Service, minimizing disruption and making the process easy for you. If our technician determines that your boat requires more extensive service in our shop, we’ll work accordingly with you for our team to pick up and transport your boat to our facility, complete the necessary repairs, and return it to your dock once the work is finished.
