The Boat Town District is Boat Town's collection of lakefront experiences on Lake LBJ, created to give families a place to gather, relax, and enjoy everything that makes life on the water special. What started as a family-owned boat dealership has grown into one of the Highland Lakes' premier waterfront destinations, where visitors can enjoy dining, shopping, entertainment, and boating—all in one place.

The district began in 2018 with the opening of Boat Town's new Lake LBJ dealership alongside Boat Town Burger Bar, creating a destination where families could enjoy great food before or after a day on the lake. As boating demand surged during the pandemic and new boat inventory became increasingly limited, Boat Town Boutique was introduced in 2020/2021, offering lake lifestyle apparel, gifts, and accessories while expanding the overall guest experience. In the fall of 2021, Patio 2900 opened as an open-air waterfront venue featuring live music, cocktails, special events, and panoramic views of Lake LBJ.
